Helping Your Child Make Good Choices Online - DCSC, Danville Elementary PTO, and the Social Health Association hosted a program for parents of all DCSC students on April 16, 2013. Marje Monroe, co-founder of www.childrenonline.org, shared interesting data and tips for parents to help their child make good choices online. This handout includes some of the tips that were shared.

Student Accident Insurance - Our school / district has selected the Student Insurance Plan from K&K Insurance Group to make reliable coverage available to parents.  If you don't have other insurance, this plan may be a resource to consider.  Additionally, even if you have other coverage, this plan can help fill expensive "gaps" caused by deductible and co-pays. Coverage may be purchased at any time during the school year by visiting www.studentinsurance-kk.com.

Aluminum Cans for Education Program. Recycling your aluminum cans helps our environment, our community and now our school district.  Blue recycling carts are located in the parking lots of each school building so that you can drop off your aluminum cans at your convenience.  By doing so, you will help to fund important school programs and activities through your recycling efforts.
