This year, just before school started, the executive board met and made significant changes to the way we operate. We’re proud to announce that every household with a child at either North or South Elementary School has a vote in PTO business. Though we do request that you support us with a donation of at least $5 if possible, there are no required dues.

The PTO holds monthly meetings, and we would love to have as many of our members (that’s you!) present at each meeting as possible. This year, special guests will include Superintendent Dr. Dennis Ward, who will discuss innovative future plans for our schools, and Mrs. Renee Bowman, who holds the newly-created title of Reading Implementation Specialist. We want to use our one-hour meetings to keep you connected to what’s going on at the schools. We hope to see you there!

Our meeting schedule for 2011-2012 school year is as follows, with all meetings being held in the South Elementary School cafeteria:
