Notification Calls for Low Cafeteria Balances
With the implementation of our new calling system, SchoolReach, we now have the ability to notify you with important information relevant to your child/children. Beginning February 2nd, we will be making courtesy phone calls to all parents of students with $5.00 or less in their cafeteria account. We hope you find this new communication helpful.
Here are a few things you should know about these calls:
1. The computer generated calls will be placed every Tuesday and Friday around 6:00 p.m.
2. You will only receive a call IF your child has a current balance of $5.00 or less. (Calls will not be placed to students who qualify for free or reduced lunch unless they have a negative balance on their account.)
3. You will receive a separate phone call for each child that has a low balance.
4. Calls will be placed to the home phone number we have on file for your child.
The message you will receive is as follows:
This is Danville Schools calling to let you know that [your child's name will be inserted here] has a cafeteria account balance of [your child's current cafeteria balance will be inserted here]. Money may be added on-line by clicking the EFunds for Schools link on our website or you can send a check or cash with your child for deposit. To access your child's purchases, log on to Harmony. Please contact Becki Gibbs, Food Services Director, at 317-745-0366 with questions.

DCHS - A Four-Star School.    Danville Community High School is among a very few secondary schools in the State of Indiana who were recognized by the Department of Education on Jan. 13, 2010, as a Four Star School for the 2008-09 school year.   No other high school in Hendricks County was awarded this distinguished honor. (Danville's South Elementary and Middle School were also rated 4-star!)   This honor was established to recognize schools that demonstrate academic excellence during the past year in attendance rates, math proficiency scores, language arts proficiency scores, and the percent of students passing math and language arts.    Congratulations to the staff, faculty, school board, and administration for this prestigious award!
New in 2010!  Parents and students have the ability to access Harmony Mobile via their smart phones.  Read more...
