The Danville Community High School track and field team has had an outstanding season! Education based athletics go far beyond wins and losses. Our students are learning valuable teamwork, time management and communication skills as well. Great work, Warriors!

Our Danville Community High School English teachers are preparing our students for success after they leave our halls! They are thinking deeply, creatively and improving their communication skills along the way. In addition to traditional English classes, we also offer Advanced Placement, acting and journalism classes.

In Danville Schools, we go beyond reading, writing and arithmetic. We also teach our Warriors to be respectful, responsible and compassionate human beings. Thanks to generous donations, North Elementary kindergartners in Miss Toole's class are getting a lesson on the importance of kindness.

Big things are happening in our Little Warrior Learning Center Preschool! Since our preschool is housed inside North Elementary, the transition to kindergarten is a breeze for our Little Warriors as they grow and become independent learners. Fifth grade is a special year at Danville Schools! Students are transitioning to Danville Community Middle School and working hard to meet their goals. Our fifth grade teachers support them every step of the way with encouragement and high expectations. Our fifth grade family rocks!

Our PACE before- and after-school program serves students from North Elementary, South Elementary and Danville Community Middle School (grades 5/6). We provide a safe and caring environment where students have the opportunity to complete homework, practice study skills, and participate in recreational games and creative activities. In addition to having a before and after school program, PACE also offers a summer program option.

Our Maintenance Team works hard every day to protect the community's investment in Danville Schools! This time of year, they also make sure each school campus is safe by plowing snow and salting our parking lots. They are a vital part of the Warrior family and we couldn't do it without them!
