Media Center Policies for students in grades 7-8

Please read the following guidelines for checking out books and material from the media center:

• Students must use their student ID card to check out materials 
• Students may have 3 items checked out from the MC
• All books can be checked out for 3 weeks (materials can only be renewed once)
• Students are responsible to return their materials and pay all overdue fines (10 cents per day or 2 Wampums per day)
• Students may not check out new materials if they have fines or overdue materials

Media Center Goals

• To instill in students a desire to be life-long readers and to have the ability to search for answers independently in the Media Center.
• To acquire and maintain a balanced collection of media center resources, which represent a wide range of subjects, levels of difficulty and formats
