Art Club is dedicated to providing cultural art experiences and education outside the classroom to students of DCHS. This club is open to any high school student regardless of whether or not they are currently enrolled in art classes. Art Club provides opportunities for students to visit galleries, museums, artist's studios, and theaters. By being involved in community events, Art Club is able to raise money, through face painting, to provide scholarships to students pursuing a degree in art. Students must meet GPA eligibility and club participation guidelines for membership. Some of the activities Art Club members participate in include: Face painting during Safe Trick or Treat and Powder Puff football, window painting, and after-school art lessons for the PACE program.
