The Mission of the DCHS Conservation Club is to raise awareness of all students and staff of environmental concerns, promote and inspire the public to be proactive in the community to help minimize environmental issues, and encourage community service, as well as eco-friendly daily practices.
One of the service projects organized and managed by the club is the school-wide recycling program. The Conservation Club made arrangements with Ray's Trash for recycling pick-up. Recycling bins are located throughout the entire high school and can accommodate most all waste (paper, plastic and metal). Ray’s Trash collects, sorts and recycles those items minimizing our carbon footprint right here in Hendricks County!
