  • DCHS Alternative Education Program (formerly Central Normal Campus) 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

How do I find out what bus my child rides?

For questions regarding your child's bus route or driver, please call the Transportation Department at 317-745-6875.  You can also visit our Transportation page to learn more about Stopfinder and how you can use it to track your bus route!

What is the process for volunteering at my child’s school?

What kind of technology is available to my child at Danville Community Schools?

Danville Community School Corporation offers a wide variety of technology including a 1-1 program for grades 3-12. This means each student has their own personal device.

What kinds of clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities are available for my child participate in?

Danville offers a wide range of IHSAA approved sports and is competitive on the local and state level. Where can I find the district calendar with school start / end dates and holidays?

The Calendar link on any page will provide this information in addition to other activities and events.

Where can I find information about closings/delays? How will I be notified?

In the event of school cancellations, delays or early dismissals, we send alerts through our communications platform ParentSquare to parents and guardians. We will also share this information on our website and our Facebook and Twitter accounts @DCSCWarriors. In addition, we will report closings and delays to following television stations: WRTV Channel 6, WISH TV Channel 8, WTHR Channel 13, and WXIN Channel 59. For more urgent matters or time-sensitive matters, we may call home and cell numbers. When you verify your child’s demographic information each year, please make sure to provide accurate phone numbers to your child’s school.

The Danville Community School Corporation is proud to be recognized as an “A” school district. Danville is also unique in that all of our buildings also received an “A” grade from the State of Indiana.

Does Danville offer an after school or before school program?
