Safety Team Members
The Danville Community School Corporation Police Department employs four full-time School Resource Officers (SROs), with one assigned to each building in the district.
Our SROs are fully trained law enforcement officers with sworn authority who specialize in school safety, crisis management, and student support. Each officer is a certified School Resource Officer and operates under the triad concept of school-based policing—a collaborative approach that integrates law enforcement, counseling, and education to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
