COVID-19 Resources

DCSC administration continues to monitor information about COVID-19. We continue to take extra time to sanitize and disinfect high-traffic areas and surfaces more frequently. As a reminder, medical professionals recommend the following tips to prevent the spread of illness:

  • Regularly washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if washing with soap and water is not immediately available.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and/or mouth.
  • Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.
  • Staying home when experiencing symptoms such as fever or vomiting. Students and staff should be fever free without the assistance of medications (like Tylenol) for 24 hours before returning to school.
  • Covering coughs and sneezes with tissues and disposing of tissue, or with the inside of the elbow.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces.
