Registration Process

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens on March 2, 2026, and families will use PowerSchool to enroll students for the upcoming school year. If you are registering a Kindergarten student for the 26-27 school year, please visit this page to learn more and get started.

If you are registering for the 25-26 school year (even kindergarten), you will use Infinite Campus. If your family is brand new to Danville Schools, please use the link below to register your family. Please make sure to complete the two-step process below:

  • Use this link to complete your online registration. Only one registration per family is needed and should include all family members. For registration instructions, please refer to this document. Please make sure to write down your username and password, as you will need this to check on your child's progress throughout the school year.
  • Please contact your child's school to schedule a visit to complete the registration process.


Registering for the 26-27 School Year
(Current Students, Including KDG Students from LWLC and Developmental Pre-K)

We hope you will find this feature more convenient for you and your family to take care of these registration details prior to the busy summer. Rest assured, even though registration will take place now, we will still hold traditional Back-to-School events at the beginning of the school year, just as you have experienced in the past. We ask that all parents/guardians complete our online registration process for each child by April 1. In order to register your child for the upcoming school year, you will need a PowerSchool account at this link. If you do not have a PowerSchool account, you will need to create an account using the provided Access ID and Password. You can visit this page on our website to learn more about creating your account and getting started!

New Student Registration Process for the 26-27 School Year
(Including KDG Students NOT at LWLC or Developmental Pre-K)

If your student is brand new to Danville Schools, please make sure to complete the process below:

  1. Use this link to complete your online pre-registration. 
  2. You will then receive an email from PowerSchool with your access ID, access password, and instructions on how to create your account and get started. You can also view these instructions in more depth here (link comng soon).
  3. Once logged in, select the student you wish to register and navigate to the “Forms” tab. 
  4. From there, select “Enrollment” and follow the steps to register your student(s) and submit the application.
     

Meal and Textbook assistance

Beginning of Year Events

Danville Community Schools will host the following events for new and returning students. 

  • Danville Community High School:
    • Freshmen Orientation.
    • Warrior Welcome Day. Students will be able to have their school yearbook pictures taken at that time and will be able to register for student activities.
  • Danville Community Middle School will host a Warrior Welcome Day. Students will be able to have their school yearbook pictures taken at that time and will be able to register for student activities.
  • Danville South Elementary will host an open house.
  • Danville North Elementary:
    • Kindergarten Ready for School.
    • Back to School Night for 1st grade students.
